LIVING IN TRANSITION EFFECTIVELY
Providing the recovery community with positive connections and outcomes.
LITE provides discussion groups, writing classes, training, book studies, and educational opportunities inside the Kosciusko County Jail.
We organize, stock, and distribute the jail’s library materials; we take requests and visit each block at least weekly.
LITE is part of the Milford Methodist Meeting House. We jointly offer recovery groups, educational classes, support groups, and community events here for former inmates and loved ones of current inmates. We also house our Basic Needs Bank here. The LITEhouse Recovery Residence is next door as well.
Coming in August 2023 the LITE Recovery Cafe!
We provide and connect the loved ones of incarcerated individuals to resources, support, mentors, and information.
Often the biggest needs of those on the outside is information - if we can provide it, we do.
The last thing we want to do is reinvent the wheel so to speak. So, we seek out partnerships and ways to collaborate with the agencies and entities already serving this area to make connections.
Cooperation and collaboration is our goal.
